As of late 2025, we have won 138 national and international fine food product awards, of which 83 are Great Taste Awards. We won our first Great Taste awards back in 2003 just a few months after setting up Chococo and we can still remember how excited we were!
We believe in entering Great Taste, Academy of Chocolate & International Chocolate Awards to benchmark ourselves, to check that our chocolates and other creations taste as good as we think they do and to also learn from judges with fine palates so that we can constantly improve.
By the way, we only enter awards which are judged blind - which is why you will only see one reference to a Taste of the West award back in 2004 - we refused to enter them again once we realised our category was being judged by a single person and in packaging, which is clearly far from objective!
