Each chocolate is crafted and decorated by hand by the Chococo chocolatiers at their chocolate kitchen in Dorset and is a celebration of not just the UK, but also the local food & drink suppliers they have built partnerships with over many years. Claire & Burnet who set Chococo up back in 2002 in Swanage in Dorset on England’s South Coast, always wanted to celebrate the best of the South West to create chocolates that are a unique reflection of the region and this box contains several chocolates crafted with ingredients sourced from local food & drink suppliers.

The chocolates are presented in a stylish rigid cardboard Chococo box which is 100% plastic-free and recyclable.

Dorset Sea Salt Caramel: Smoked sea salt from the Dorset Sea Salt Company, based on the Isle of Portland in West Dorset, in a muscovado caramel in an Ecuador origin dark chocolate gem. Each chocolate is decorated with speckles of naturally coloured cocoa butter. 2 Star Gold Great Taste Award 2020

Cherry Bakewell: A classic British sweet tart of almond & cherry, this chocolate combines Colombia origin white chocolate with almond butter and is layered with a sour cherry jam made by a local artisan preserves company in Dorset. Each chocolate is decorated with a dash & dot of naturally coloured cocoa butter. 1 Star Gold Great Taste Award 2022

Bob’s Bees: Named after Chococo’s local beekeeper, Robert Field who has hives all over Dorset, this honey-infused blend of white & blonde chocolate provides a sweet contrast to the Ecuador origin dark chocolate shell decorated with white chocolate swirls and a dusting of edible shimmer.

Earl Grey Tea: Fragrant earl grey tea from the Bird & Blend Tea Company based in Brighton in East Sussex, also on England’s South Coast, infused into dark chocolate in a dark chocolate gem. What could be more British? Each chocolate is decorated with a naturally coloured blue & white cocoa butter pattern. (vf)

Salcombe Gin: This chocolate is infused with a craft gin from Salcombe in Devon in the West Country. Salcombe is now a holiday destination but back in the nineteenth century it was a port famous for its fast clipper schooners known as ‘Salcombe Fruiters’ carrying perishable citrus fruits. So we have teamed up this blend of Salcombe gin in Colombia origin milk chocolate with pink grapefruit for a citrus botanical note! Each chocolate is decorated with naturally coloured pink cocoa butter speckles.

Scallywag Whisky: Scottish aged Speyside single malt whisky matured in sherry casks, with rich dark fruit & spice notes, infused into creamy tasting Colombia origin oat m!lk chocolate in a dark chocolate shell decorated with a dash of edible shimmer. (vf)
