If you’ve ever wondered why the Dorset Sea Salt Caramel is a Chococo signature, this box is your answer: sixteen handcrafted chocolates, each with a liquid muscovado caramel centre laced with smoked sea salt, encased in a 72% Ecuador origin dark chocolate shell and decorated by hand with naturally coloured cocoa butter speckles.

The salt is what makes it. It comes from the Dorset Sea Salt Company, based on the Isle of Portland in Dorset, just along the coast from our Chocolate Kitchen - their apple oak smoked sea salt brings a gentle smokiness that cuts through the sweet, buttery caramel and pairs beautifully with the depth of the dark chocolate. It’s a partnership with a local producer that goes back years, and exactly the kind of collaboration Claire & Andy Burnet had in mind when they founded Chococo in Dorset, on England’s South Coast, back in 2002.

Each chocolate is crafted and decorated by hand by the Chococo chocolatiers in their Dorset Chocolate Kitchen. The chocolates are presented in a stylish rigid cardboard Chococo box which is 100% plastic-free and recyclable.

Storage advice: store somewhere cool and dry away from direct sunlight & strong odours. If stored in the fridge, bring back to room temperature before eating.
